Disgusting.

The supporters of the union protest at Madison, Wisconsin, are the same lefty groups who make a habit of desecrating war memorials in Washington and elsewhere during their protests.

Ann and Meade Althouse were there and exposed the casual disrespect these people show to our honored military:

Kudos to the Althouses for exposing this and for all their great on the spot reporting from the front lines.

UpdateThey return the next day to find out if the junk has been cleared off the memorial!

In a move eerily reminiscent of the NY 23 fiasco between Doug Hoffman and Dede Scozzafava, the western NY GOP committeemen have selected a pro-abortion RINO to run for the open NY 26 Congressional District.

This is the second time the GOP leaders have ignored the request of the hero Iraq War veteran David Bellavia to run for that seat.

The stage is being set for another three way race in New York with a conservative being pitted against a RINO and a Democrat socialist.

Rus Thompson a Buffalo Tea Party Activist is interviewed here.

Stay Tuned!

This is one of the reasons we support Allen West, retired Lt. Col., U.S. Army and now Congressman from Florida’s 22nd Congressional District.

We expect that he will be going places in the future!

Update: Fox News talks to Congressman West about his CAIR smackdown!

David Bellavia, Iraq Vet, Silver and Bronze Star recipient, author of the book “House to House” about his experiences in the Battle of Fallujah, has thrown his hat into the ring to replace former Congressman Lee who resigned recently.

The 26th Congressional District stretches from Rochester to Buffalo.

David ran for this seat in 2008 but was defeated by entrenched Republican operatives.

A brief bio is here.

David Bellavia is a good man.  He is being supported by Iraq Vets for Congress where you can make a contribution.

More here, here and here.

Give ’em Hell, David!

It is outstanding to be able to place the title Congressman before the name of Lt. Col. Allen West!

At his first ‘official’ town hall meeting, Congressman West responds to a question about illegal immigration.

The question was posed by a man who was himself an immigrant, having escaped from Hungary before the Russian invasion of 1955.

Here is a photo of Lt. Col. West and his lovely family as he is being sworn in to Congress.

As an aside, did you know that George Washington’s highest rank before assuming command of the revolutionary forces in 1775 was colonel?  Just saying…
