Christmas Eve Road March in Support of Our Troops

Demonstrate your support for Our Troops by participating in the Second Annual Christmas Eve Road March on the streets of Beautiful Glens Falls!

Who: National Guard Members, Blue Star Families and Patriotic Citizens.

What: 5 Mile walk through historic and scenic Glens Falls in support of our deployed troops who will be away from home this Christmas.

Where: National Guard Armory, 147 Warren Street, Glens Falls, NY.

Glens Falls is about fifty miles (1 hour) north of Albany on I-87 the Northway.

When: Christmas Eve, December 24th, 9 a.m.

The Glens Falls Army National Guard, 147 Warren St., will be leading its second annual Christmas Eve Road March at 9 a.m. Dec. 24. The march is held as a show of support for soldiers who have been deployed and are not able to spend the holidays with their families.

The five-mile walk will begin at the armory, continue to the intersection of Aviation Road and Upper Glen Street and return to the armory. Refreshments will be served at the armory.

This is a free event. All military personnel, former and current, as well as families of soldiers and other members of the community, are welcome to participate.
