The men and women of the 479th perform some of the most dangerous jobs in Iraq today, removal and disposal of IEDs and the shaped charge mines being smuggled into Iraq from Iran.  They deserve our full support  and respect as they deploy again to the Sandbox!

Here is an article from the Albany Times Union newspaper about the return of some of these men from Iraq in July, 2008.

Bring Flags!  If you have flags that can attach to your vehicles all the better!
The Floyd Bennett/Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge is a toll bridge so bring EZ Pass if you have it.
