It is a heart warming message.
Last Saturday, as the last of our guys were leaving the corner at Rte 9 and Vassar Rd in Poughkeepsie, an SUV pulled to the curb and two young patriots jumped out and ran up to Steve to deliver these two beautiful Christmas cards!
The inscription reads:
Dear Veterans,
Thank You for supporting Our Troops. We all appreciate you guys standing on Rt. 9 every Saturday.
From Your friends,
Sammy & Brianna
p.s. We’re the people in the black Armada beeping like crazy.
Thank You, Sammy & Brianna, for supporting our troops! It was a wonderful thing that you took the time to create such beautiful cards and make the time to get them to us. We appreciate it greatly. Your action makes the sacrifices we make to be there all the more meaningful. It means that people are seeing, noticing and agreeing with our message. That means the world to us and to the troops overseas.

Do You Remember?
If not, you might want to watch this. It is permanently linked under favorites in our blogroll for a reason.
On Saturday, December 5, 2009, at Noon in Foley Square on the steps of the Federal Courthouse, The Gathering of Eagles will join with the 911 Never Forget Coalition, 911 family members, FDNY and NYPD personnel, Tea Party Patriots and thousands of Americans for whom the attack on 911, the worst attack on American soil in history, is more than just a man made disaster.
We intend to provide a very large, very voluble and very visible rebuke to Eric Holder and the Obama adminstration.
Bring flags, bring signs, bring loud voices!
Who: 911 Never Forget, 911 Family Members, FDNY, NYPD and more!
What: Stop The Terror Trial in NYC Rally
Where: Federal Court, Foley Square, Manhattan
When: Saturday, December 5, 2009, Noon
The 911 Never Forget Coalition held a press conference in Battery Park today.
Among the speakers was Peter Regan:
Peter is the son of my friend Don Regan of FDNY Rescue 3 who was killed on 911.
Peter is also a fireman and a United States Marine who has served two combat tours overseas. The son of a hero is himself a hero in his own right.
Too Funny and Too True!
Thanks to Minnesotans For4 Global Warming!
On a more serious note here is an interview with Tim Ball, retired climatologist, discussing the Global Warming Fraud!
Here’s a Rogues’ Gallery of some of the fraudsters!

Competitive Enterprise Institute files lawsuit against NASA for coverup!
The Warrior Legacy Institute has created some excellent short videos that get you up to speed on who and how we are fighting the war.
Who we are Fighting, the Pakistani Tribal Areas:
A Counter Terrorism Primer:
And a more specific Population Centric Counter Insurgent Primer:
Megan Ortegas gives a first hand account of the counter insurgency operations in the tribal areas from back in April:
It is important to view the last video to see what effect the operations are having on the ground and what improvements would have the greatest effect. It is also important to note that the president has made no decision yet, months later, on the recommendations of his chosen commander, General McChrystal, to increase troop strength to extend counter insurgency operations. More recommendations from General McChrystal are discussed here.
Tea Party Patriots came out in support of the Million Med March in New York City!
Protesting the Harry Reid vote for cloture in Congress, they attracted the attention of tourists and passersby.
The Vigilant Squirrel Brigade was there to capture the action.
Educate Our Youth!
We have been losing the war for the youth of this country to those who would undermine everything the United States stands for. It is long past time for that to change. One group fighting to preserve the values of our great nation by introducing children and teens to them is Free To Be.
Here is a two part video they have created:
They go right into schools to do their presentation and get a tremendously positive reaction from the students.
We need more programs like this and more teaching materials, pertinent to our youth, to make them realize the connection between the freedom and liberty they enjoy, and the costs, principles and values that create and maintain it.
Please think about the implications of this and how you can help.

Going Rogue is selling like gangbusters!
For more on the first stop of her tour go here.
She has two Army posts on her tour: Ft. Bragg 11/23 and Ft. Hood 12/4
About Fort Hood she says:
I’m especially looking forward to meeting our brave men and women in uniform at Fort Hood. I’m joining the efforts of many others by donating my royalties from the book sales during our stop at Fort Hood to the families of the victims whose lives have been forever changed by the tragic events of November 5th. I am humbled to be able to join the larger effort called “Community Response to 11/5,” which was established by the Central Texas-Fort Hood Chapter of the Association of the US Army (AUSA). You can read more about their great efforts here: http://www.forthoodausa.org/.
Eric Holder doesn’t know.
The decision to try 911 terrorists in New York is a poison pill to all of our constitutional rights. Either the government will have to pick and choose which rights to allow in federal court, setting an unhealthy precedent, or the terrorists will be allowed so many rights that our sources and methods of intelligence will be compromised for generations, and conviction will be problematical.
More on the legal problems here.
Hat Tip: Gateway Pundit
Lynne Stewart, a probable enabler of the 911 attacks, was finally told to start serving her sentence for her conviction on aiding and abetting terrorism.
The unrepentent Stewart lost her appeal of the conviction. She was disbarred from practicing law in New York, although that did not keep Hoftsra University from having her join a panel on ‘Legal Ethics’.
Patriots in New York protested outside one of her fundraising ‘gloat’ sessions all the way back in December 2006. Friends like Ward Chruchill were present.
For selling out her country she got only 28 months, pathetic. Hopefully a review will upgrade that to 28 years or more.
The ABA story is here.
Now if they would just prosecute “Pinch” Sulzberger and Bill Keller of the New York Times…
Here Keller adjusts a picture of his hero in the Times office:
